The purpose of the Commission is to provide for the identification, evaluation, and protection of historic resources; raise community awareness; and serve as the city’s primary resource in matters of history, historic planning, and preservation.
Two meetings in the spring (3rd week in Feb. & 3rd week in March,) two towards the end of the year,(2nd week in Nov. and 1st week in Dec.) and special meetings as needed for nominations to the historic register.
The next meeting of the HHPC:

If you are interested in becoming a member of the HHPC, please plan to attend a meeting as a guest to see how you can be involved.. We are always interested in public participation, but we currently have a full commission of seven members.
