Public Hearing:
Harrington’s Capital Improvement Plan

Wednesday May 9th, 2018
Harrington City Hall, 7:30 PM

Purpose: So that citizens can give input to the council on projects that they think are important to the future of the City of Harrington.

Description: Projects qualifying for addition to the Capital Improvement Plan are divided into 5 primary categories: Water System Projects, Sewer System Projects, Street System Projects, Storm Sewer System Projects, and Solid Waste Projects. Any property acquisitions must also appear on an approved Capital Improvement Plan prior to purchase. The intended projects need to be present on a current Capital Improvement Plan in order to apply for Local, State, and Federal grant funding.

Please come prepared with a few suggestions that you feel are needed, and that fit the above categories. Time will be limited to 3 min per person, and the hearing is scheduled for 45 minutes of public input.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts, time, and contributions!
