April 27 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
On Nov. 12, 2009, The Harrington City Council approved an ordinance to establish a Harrington Certified Local Government and a 7 member Harrington Historic Preservation Commission (HHPC) as an advisory board. The purpose of the Commission is to provide for the identification, evaluation, and protection of historic resources; raise community awareness; and serve as the city’s primary resource in matters of history, historic planning, and preservation.
The HHPC meets at least quarterly. Members of the public are welcome to attend to observe and provide input during public comment section of the meeting.
