Harrington City Council Meeting & Prelim Budget Hearing

November 13 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Monthly Meeting, Preliminary Budget Hearing, Revenue Sources Hearing, Property Tax Levy

The principal job of a city or town council is to set policy. A policy is a course of action for a community. Policy-making often takes the form of passing ordinances or resolutions. After policy decisions are made by the legislative body, others perform the administrative task of implementing the policies.

City Council meetings are open to the public, however comments and questions may be limited to specific time periods. Agendas are posted at City Hall 24 hours in advance of meetings.
Questions about the agenda can be directed to the City Clerk.

The Public Hearing for the Preliminary 2020 Harrington City Budget will take place on November 13th during the regular City Council Meeting.
Also, the Public Hearing on Revenue Sources and approval of Property Tax Levy will  take place during the meeting.
